Russian diplomats are being kicked out. This was stated by the Ambassador to Washington, Anatoly Antonov, noting that 27 people with their families would leave the United States on January 30, and the same number on June 30.
On the air of the YouTube channel “Soloviev Live”, the ambassador said that accreditation was taken from the spouses of diplomats, and children were not given visas. Antonov called this a policy of separation of families, although the United States declares a respect for family traditions, RIA Novosti writes.
According to him, there is no transition of the number of contacts between the two countries into quality indicators. Russia is still perceived as adversaries, and the atmosphere is poisoned by Russophobia. Antonov considers the American approach to relations with Russia one-sided: Washington discusses with Moscow only those issues that are of interest to the United States.
