In Cambodia, people earn money by making beautiful brooms from single-use plastic. At an average of 5,000 bottles per day, 44 tonnes of plastic have been used in the production of brooms in the last one year.

With the capital Nampen alone generating around 38,000 tons of plastic waste daily, broom manufacturing is a great revenue opportunity, they said.
