jpnn.com, JAKARTA – PDI Perjuangan provides support to the United Development Party (PPP) to qualify for parliament. PDIP believes there is a political operation to reduce PPP’s votes so that it does not pass parliamentary threshold.

“We are very worried about PPP,” said Hasto in a press conference at the PDIP DPP Office, Jalan Diponegoro, Central Jakarta, Monday (25/3).

Hasto said that he met PPP Secretary General Achmad Baidowi last Saturday morning. Hasto said PDIP’s commitment from the start has been to help PPP until now.

“Since the first vote count, we invited PPP to work together at the PDIP data center. Even in 2019, the last election, we were ordered by Mrs. Mega, who holds Mbah Maimoen’s mandate, to help PPP, because of its history. PDIP doesn’t want the history of Ka’s party. “This has been removed from the history of this republic,” said Hasto.

Hasto emphasized that the problems faced by PPP were due to various political operations. This politician from Yogyakarta conveyed to all Ganjar-Mahfud supporters that there were efforts to reduce the votes of their parties, namely PPP, Perindo, Hanura and PDIP.

“We provide the highest solidarity. Because we don’t want to eliminate the Kaaba party. But perhaps Pak Jokowi will later be recorded as a president who has a legacy of eliminating the Kaaba party in the history of this republic. Even though the Kaaba party has a very important role far before independence,” said Hasto.

“This is an extraordinary political operation, which is no longer accepted by norms and ethics. Because when the ambition of power is able to defeat ethics, morals, and eliminate the supremacy of existing laws, there are the dark sides of power. And this is a murky period for Indonesia’s future direction ,” added Hasto.

Hasto believes that this must be resisted because if not, then there is no longer any point in character education. According to Hasto, children must also be educated on how important it is to follow the process.

Hasto emphasized that the problems faced by PPP were due to various political operations.
