The President of the Republic receives a phone call from his Egyptian counterpart on the occasion of the month of Ramadan

President Abdel Latif Gamal Rashid received a phone call from his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

The Presidency’s Media Department stated in a statement received by the (INA), that “the President of the Republic, Abdel Latif Gamal Rashid, received a phone call today, Sunday, from the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.”
He added, “The Egyptian President extended his congratulations and blessings to the President of the Republic on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan and his wishes for more security, stability and prosperity for the Iraqi people. President Abdel Latif Gamal Rashid also expressed his best congratulations to the Egyptian President on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan,” expressing his “wishes to the people.” “Brotherly Egyptian, continued progress and prosperity.”
He continued, “During the call, they discussed strengthening relations between the two countries and expanding means of cooperation in a way that serves common interests. The two presidents also reviewed the situation in the region and the Gaza Strip, and stressed the need to stop the aggression and heinous crimes committed against the Palestinian people, and for the international community to shoulder its responsibilities to stop… Continuous bombing and ensuring humanitarian access to the Palestinians.”
